A grimey, wild and blown out live recording of OWL XOUNDS EXPLODING GALAXY performing at Goodbye Blue Monday in Brooklyn NY on 8/4/2006, featuring the quintet of Adam Kriney (drums), Gene Janas (upright bass), Shayna Dulberger (upright bass), Bonnie Kane (tenor saxophone & electronics) & Greg Vegas (tenor saxophone). Totally unhinged.

This live track entitled "Violating Scene Policy" was released on a split cassette with DATASHOCK on the Meudiademorte label, catalog MDDM35. THIS IS THE ONLY LABEL THAT NEVER SENT THE BAND EVEN A SINGLE COPY OF THE RELEASE. THEY CLAIMED THAT THE PACKAGE GOT LOST IN THE MAIL, WHO KNOWS...BUT REGARDLESS, IT REMAINS A FACT AS SUCH!

"NY based freak-jazz troupe OWL XOUNDS EXPLODING GALAXY, featuring the core of drummer Adam Kriney (LA OTRACINA/Colour Sounds Recordings) and upright bassist Gene Janas, upright bassist Shayna Dulberger, Bonnie Kane on amplified tenor sax and electronics and Greg Vegas on tenor sax. "The textures/times/vibrations embarked upon in this free-music setting draw from the sewers of outsider-experimental jazz explorations and intuitive approaches to instant composition received from the cosmos above." recorded live at goodbye blue monday brooklyn. Datashock is a stylized German neo hippie collective who combine their kraut roots with contemporary psych folk vibes. Improv sound rituals, offerings to the altar of free flows and creation, together in a noisy harmony. recorded live in darmstadt. We recorded this track on may the 21th 2007 in the Oetinger Villa, Darmstadt. Datashock on these recordings are: Ronnie Oliveras/Jan Werner/Ruth Maria Adam/Martina Ripplinger/Pascal Hector.
