The OWL XOUNDS tracks here are from a split with UK noise project FAMILY BATTLE SNAKE that was issued on both CD-R (50 copies) and cassette (50 copies) format on the Blackest Rainbow label. There was no catalog number issued for this release and it is long sold out. This download comes with a bonus track that was released on the "Brownturnsblack" CD-R compilation, issued on the Thor's Rubber Hammer Productions label (TRHP06).

The two tracks from the split w/ FAMILY BATTLE SNAKE and the track from the "Brownturnsblack" CD-R compilation were recorded live at 611 Florida in Washington DC on 2/22/07 by Steve Sanford and feature the classic trio lineup of Adam Kriney/Gene Janas/Mario Rechtern.
